According to Einstein - everything is composed of energy. Specific emotions or thoughts form clusters of energy; trauma in the system is frozen energy; sub-personalities are constellations of diverse energy; disease is an energy disruption or blockage.
Energy psychology tools - such as EFT - take the talking cure a step further. EFT does not replace the relational or transferential dynamic of therapist and client, but can be a useful tool to be incorporated into one's clinical practice. It is a simple but effective method of tapping along the meridians - an acupressure of the emotions, with spoken statements or reversals, - and can be practiced on the client by the practitioner - or alongside (the client can be taught the technique themselves by demonstration) - with remarkable shifts and transformations taking place.
The teaching methods will include theory demos and practice sessions.

the EFT toolbox; setting up support pairs/group and telephone practice.

This weekend is for assimilating and integrating what you've learnt. This will be for deepening your EFT practice and will include: questions and answers; how to incorporate this work into psychosynthesis or into one's own therapy practice; mentoring and supervision; working for and on others; visualising the possibilities; Where to next?
CPD certificates of attendance will be given by the Psychosynthesis Professional Association for Levels 1 & 2.
Viv is an AAMET (Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques) registered Advanced EFT practitioner and trainer. Those who complete the course to Level 2 will be eligible to register with AAMET, and those who successfully complete to Level 3 will be accredited as Advanced EFT practitioners.

Fogel (B.Ed. UKCP & AAMET reg.) has worked as an integrative psychosynthesis
psychotherapist since graduating from the Trust in 1985, and as a supervisor
since 1991. Previously she taught art in schools and to adults. Her varied
therapy experience includes Bio-Energetics, breath and voice work, healing,
Family Constellations, Five Rhythms and Jungian psychoanalytical supervision.
Viv has trained with some of the top metaphysicians and teachers, and has run many workshops on a variety of topics.
She is passionate about the ways in which our unconscious intelligence reveals itself - often psycho-energetically - and for many years has been supervising alternative and mainstream health practitioners. In 2007 she trained and qualified in EFT and incorporates that into her work. She is also a published poet and is currently writing a book.
