WORKSHOP: Meditation and Energy Psychology

Reinhard Kowalski's clinical and theoretical work has been in building bridges between Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychosynthesis and Eastern meditation approaches. More recently Reinhard has embraced the latest developments in Energy Psychology into his work, in particular Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Seemorg Matrix Work.

These approaches address the psychological after-effects of trauma by treating the person's energy through the Meridian System (EFT) or the Chakras (Seemorg). According to Emotional Freedom Technique, all traumas cause a disruption in the body's energy system. In order to resolve psychological problems, talking can help by removing 80% of a problem but for full recovery we need to tap into the subtle energy system directly. The techniques facilitate change and growth by addressing the sub-conscious mind both cognitively and on the level of subtle energy work. Reinhard uses a deeply psychological methodology that directly utilises the chakras in psychotherapy and which can easily be integrated with talking.

In his experiential weekend workshop, Reinhard will teach his Mind- Balancing Meditation Programme and will also introduce EFT and the basic techniques of Seemorg Matrix work as instruments for removing blocks to personal and spiritual development
