Are you confused about finances? Do you want more money but sabotage your own efforts to acquire it? Do you dare allow yourself to have and use money choicefully?

Attitudes to money are complex and confusing both personally and professionally, and yet gaining clarity in this area can be a road to greater spiritual depth and clinical trust.

In this one day workshop we will begin to address what money means to us as individuals, practitioners, and as spiritual beings. We will look at our history around this and how we handle the use of money in the therapeutic relationship and support our personal security in the world.

The topics we will explore are:-
The boundaries... Pragmatics of earning money through counselling... How much to charge and why... Difficulties that arise when clients don't/can't pay... Increases in fees and how to negotiate these... The symbolism behind the transactions, and the issue of money and inner worth.

The workshop will consist of some theory but be mostly experiential.

The aims are to increase understanding and confidence in this complex area and address what Assagioli described as one the two "most central interests and spurs to action…(that) therefore require examination in the light of the spirit, and the insight that it alone can give".
