| "Disappointment is a good sign
of basic intelligence: it is so sharp, precise, obvious, and direct... At the point where you begin to be disappointed, you get it." Trungpa Disappointment and disillusion are universal experiences. We all hit those stuck, dry patches in our spiritual practice, when we feel like giving up altogether. We swing between hope and despair, with no real stability or equanimity. This course explores the value of disappointment from a Buddhist perspective,
and what lies on the other side of it. |
